i'm in corvallis, oregon. today i toured the university of oregon. what can i say besides: OH MY GOD. so far it's easily my top school. they have a very great english major program with a nice creative writing program. i talked to a music person and i can minor in music while majoring in writing/english. they've also got a great (#2 in the nation) journalism schoo, which i could be down for.

tomorrow i tour and interview at reed college.

i'm so damn nervous. like, seriously. i'm scared. i have to dress up, khaki pants and a salmon colored shirt. i'm so scared. some body drive the 10 hours to corvallis where i'll be staying till saturday and like...sleep with me. and by sleep i mean sleep. no sex need be involved.

FUCK.

i'm so scared. i suck at interviews and i'll definitely end up going to like...cal state east bay.

shit. i'm gonna go play my mom's friend's son in need for speed and kick his little 14 year old ass.

i love you all and i'll see you all in 10 days. especially one of you.

My aunt went to Oregon state, she really liked it. Of course, she liked it because they had an awesome horseback riding team, but the school was awesome too.

Isn't that where Ram Dass & Ben Kane are going? There are lots of lesbians in Oregon. Your parents won't be too scared when they come visit you.

Reed is kind of iffy, if you ask me. They play a lot of favourites, which I don't appreciate. If everyone takes a liking to you, you get better grades without doing any work, but all the students will hate you because you're throwing off the curve when they actually did stuff. If they don't notice you as much or don't like you, you're going to be hating the kids throwing off the curve yourself. A friend of mine worked there until last year and offered to get me in on the basis of her liking me, and I was like "...it's past acceptance letter time, and I didn't apply..." and he was all "here, that doesn't really matter." But hey, if you like that kinda thing and they like you, it's all good.

We're both going to be doing music! We should have a big jam session after your first year taking music classes. It'll be fun.
